how to load module before init process at boot

I have a loadable module that I wish to insert before the init process is spawned. I can certainly do it in any of the run levels..i have tried that successfully, but is there a way where the module can be inserted before the init process is created, ie somewhere when the kernel is being loaded and before kernel creates init process.. how about initrd..is there a way to add a module here..I have come across someting to modify /linuxrc but i could not locate the file... ---abhi __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
