Has anyone been successful installing any SuSE version to the hp ze4115 laptop? I have tried to use the cds, dvd, boot iso cd, and the 9.1 ftp boot install. Not one will go past the first welcome splash screen. The cd seems to unmount and the keyboard is dead. Only and power off will do anything.
Knoppix will boot and play, Debian will boot and play, but no SuSE! I would really like to instal SuSE 9.1 cause I'm most familiar with it. Is there any finger magic that I can try to get it to boot to do an install? Since it never gets to the screen where I can disable anything I'm at a loss.
Try booting off CD2. I've had the same problem on Dell 350, it was hanging while loading the kernel off CD1. Boot from CD2 did the trick. Regards, -Kastus
