Hi Ya'll. I've got a file server running embedded XP (LaCie NAS). On the server I have 3 folders shared for various reasons. All 3 folders I can access. Prior to upgrading to 9.1 (from 9.0) I was able to read, write and change files without a problem. After the 9.1 upgrade (couple months ago) I am unable to make changes to files in one of the folders.../shop. Here's my fstab entries... //NAS/work /mnt/work smbfs username=blah,password=blah!,rw,user,auto,uid=500 0 0 //NAS/mrp /mnt/MRP smbfs username=blah,password=blah!,rw,user,noauto,uid=500 0 0 //NAS/shop /mnt/shop smbfs username=blah,password=blah!,rw,user,noauto,uid=500 0 0 When I run mount, I see... //NAS/nls on /mnt/NLS type smbfs (0) //NAS/mrp on /mnt/MRP type smbfs (0) //TOM2/F on /mnt/Tom type smbfs (0) //NAS/shop on /mnt/shop type smbfs (0) work and mrp I have full control over. shop, I do not. I've compared the 3 folders with no success. I've created a new one on the server called shop2, mounted it in the same fashion "mount //NAS/shop2 /mnt/shop2" and while it mounts, I can read, but not write or save an existing file.
