On 9.1 machines it seems SCSI disks get swapped, compared with 8.1, 8.2, and 9.0. This is on a Dell poweredge 2650, the onboard Perc3/Di was /dev/sda, now it's sdb. The Perc4DC PCI card with an external enclosure was /dev/sdb, now it's sda. Anyone know enough about 2.4 and 2.6 kernels to say if the new kernel is (or isn't) the reason for the swap?
