The only problem I have had with first updates on 9.1 has been the default selection of the mirror. Mine has been some place in California and it doesnt work. My solution is to complete the install then start YAST and during the update sequence i select a mirror, usually ftp.gwdg.de, and from then on it works fine If your problems is different then I cant help you cause that is the only trouble I've had with any updates. ra
