I'm not familiar with 'chat', I have not used it in years, but my guess is that you are authenticating to the access router terminal before starting ppp - that is acceptable, depending on the configuration of the access server. If not, the first login prompt must be ignored and leave the authentication to the ppp session (chap or pap auth). If you know how to do that, fine (I don't). If not, simply use wvdial instead, and tell it to use stupid mode. On a side note: be carefull when you post logs, you posted your password. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
