Be warned though that after doing this apt-get (and YOU) will complain about conflicting packages each time you try to install new updates so you may have to uninstall and re-install the package each time you try to use these tools.
Or.... you can add the line: Ignore {"kdebase3-SuSE"; };
to /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/apt.conf
ie:
// with "apt-config dump" all settings can be viewed
Acquire::CDROM::Copy "true";
Debug { pkgRPMPM "false"; }
RPM { // Hold (do not update) a list with pkgs: // Hold { "k_deflt"; "sane"; }; // Leave list empty to disable Fake-Provides { "" } Ignore {"kdebase3-SuSE"; };
Options { }; Install-Options ""; Erase-Options ""; Source { Build-Command "rpmbuild --rebuild"; }; }
and apt will ignore kdebase3-Suse
