<grin> have on on the shelf I purchased when in high school
Can't do more than multiply and divide with it, but never mind. Is it possible to do hex math on a slide rule?
Certainly, a slide rule just adds logrithims. Hex is a different root, 16 instead of 10 or e.
You mean a different base. You can still do logs & exponents in binary or any other base. I remember doing log & exponent base conversion, in my math classes, back when I was studying electrical engineering. I guess I should browse through my math text for a refresher, as soon as this <cough> dust cloud dissipates. ;-)
