Anyone know of a Linux app that will either view or convert M$ Publisher files. I've Googled but come up empty handed.
Thanks, Darrell
If you really like Publisher, and want to keep using it, you might try Codeweaver's Crossover Office.
Doesn't work, not a priority for them (until a bunch more people ask for it, or 1 person w/ alot of cash). At least that was their line last year as 3.0 was being released.

Running COO ver. 2.01 and MS Publisher 2002 here. I don't realy use it for much, but it does appear to work.
Although I don't really intend to spend much time troubleshooting this since my wife and daughter can run publisher on our old pc I tried again anyway. (suse 9.0, kde 3.3, win4lin patched kernel) COO 2.01 and msPublisher (from office 2000) although it starts fine and acts as if it will work ( presents the wizard, etc) none of the menu's or buttons work. Maybe cxoffice works better w/ office 2002. All I know is that CodeWeavers told me they would need to see alot more cash (customer requests) before they would put any time into official publisher support. If it starts working incidental to other projects then they will be as happy as everyone else. Note, the above is not meant to slight codeweavers in the least, they are a very straight forward and responsive company and provide a good product for those that need it. -- dh Don't shop at ZipZoomFly.com!
