You could try rpm -ivv
It will give you more information. Maybe it's not the good rpm for your
SuSe version and it's trying to use a file which does not exist on your
distribution

I went ahead and removed the logrotate rpm i had installed then downloaded it again and tried to install. when i run rpm -i log* , i get this..

...any ideas?
