all i can suggest is from what i have found that is there is a problem or at least appeares to a problem with javascript in certain versions of Konqueror. never was able to find out why that was one of the reasons for down loading and installing Mozilla which solved the problem for me i know for others it is not the same dont ask why cus i aint got the first idea for the record i am running the Mozilla 1.8a1 alpah version and it is absolutley rock solid here . your milage may vary pete .

Peter, Do you think you could set some margins in your mailer? Usually about 72 works nicely and is the default setup for most mailers. You mails come with text running across the screen, etc, making them sometimes difficult to read. You are using KMail it seems so setting margins for the composer should not be difficult.
