A printing problem, I am using Suse 9.0 and kde as supplied from the boxed distro, connected to an Epson C41UX printer. Configured with Yast2 & kdeprint, the test pages print OK. I can print a textfile from the console using the command; lpr <texstfile> But applications such as OpenOffice and others will not send the printfiles to CUPS The command;..........lpq results in; 'EpsonStylus is ready no entries' Printing a file using Kate; the CUPS -fail message window- reads as follows; -- A print error ocurred. Error message received from system: cupsdoprint -P 'EpsonStylus' -J 'sysop-notes2.txt' -H 'localhost:631' -U 'chip' -o' copies=1 multiple-document-handling=separate-documents-collated-copies orientation-requested=3' '/tmp/kde-chip/kdeprint_bG8YZpF' execution failed with message: client-error-not-possible -- I cannot solve the problem, and would be gratefuil for some help Boris
