Recently installed mono release 1 for suse 9.0. Monodevelop seems to need gkthtml3, but suse 9.0 comes with gtkhtml2 and gnome 2.4 for suse 9.0 also has gtkhtml2. Is it necessary to upgrade to gnome 2.6?
I think it is. You can either do an apt-get for the gtkhtml3 or install red
carpet. Either will resolve the dependencies for you
How stable is it? gnome 2.6 or monodevelop? :) I was playing with both and gnome 2.6 seems ok. Monodevelop didn't crash on me yet, but I'm doing fairly standard stuff...
Thanks for your response. I installed gnome 2.6, but eclipse 2.1.3 doesn't show anymore the dialogs button's label text... :( I think that as the gtk version also changes, it messes my eclipse instalation too...
