Hey Group; After the last SuSE 9.0 upgrade I have New problem at boot time. It seems some new script run after the runlevel change has a request for /dev/video0v4l which doesn't exist. I would mknod it myself but what major number is it? It is a block device with a minor number 0. /dev/video0 is a charcter device with major number of 81. A check of kernel Documentation devices.txt also agrees. No such device. It seems that about every recent SuSE issue has given me headaches. That is why I have stuck with 9.0 and avoided 9.1. This surely includes the kernel. -- 73 de Donn Washburn __ " http://www.hal-pc.org/~n5xwb " Ham Callsign N5XWB / / __ __ __ __ __ __ __ 307 Savoy St. / /__ / / / \/ / / /_/ / \ \/ / Sugar Land, TX 77478 /_____/ /_/ /_/\__/ /_____/ /_/\_\ LL# 1.281.242.3256 Dump Microsoft Software - Stop virus email Email: n5xwb@hal-pc.org " http://counter.li.org " #279316
