Something is amiss here somewhere. I try to get to a console using ALT+CRTL+F1-6 and when I do this, the X server will restart! I cannot access these terminals at all. I made sure that the permissions in YaST are set to easy but this thing still persists in restarting X.
What do I need to do to get this to work as expected?
Thanks!

============
Marshall, Ben and I had this happen once too, but I'm not I remember what was causing it. I believe it was a bad setup on the keyboard. I think we fixed ours by adjusting things in a run of sax2. Again, ours, I believe was way back during 8.1 or 8.2 version. :o)
Well it is looking like it was an issue with me trying to get a tablet to work with SuSE.
I kept a backup of the XF86Config file and restored the backup file and things are fine. But this really gets me ticked off!
I cannot get the kernel module for the tablet to be assigned to the tablet. Because the system wants to configure the tablet as a mouse!
I not knowing too much about hot SuSE handles USB did ask a few questions but all I got in response is to hear the crickets chirping.
I know that this may mean that others do not know but not getting any responses at all makes one wonder.
Enough of that. Basically, I will need to get the tablet to use the correct kernel module first and then I can go and configure it in X.
Thanks Anders and BandiPat for heading me in the right direction on the terminal issue!
