One problem solved, one to go... 1) Anders, You were 100% right. When I used /dev/sg0 in Control Center, the error changed to "Could not write". I then checked the permissions:
ls -al /dev/s?0 crw-r----- 1 root disk 21, 0 Sep 9 2002 /dev/sg0 brwxrwxrwx 1 wmeler disk 11, 0 Sep 9 2002 /dev/sr0 crw-rw---- 1 root disk 9, 0 Sep 9 2002 /dev/st0
When I did a simple 'chmod 777 /dev/sg0' everything worked.
Thanks!!!
2)
Everyone,
I have another problem now with the Audio CD Browser. I can see WAV, CDA, and OGG files. OGG is nice, but I'd like to use the MP3 functionality. There is an "Ogg Vorbis" directory, but no MP3 directory. How do I get the MP3 functionality?

Check the permissions on /dev/sg0 too, I believe that is the important device -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com Cheers, wmeler
