Dear All, I try to use samba-vscan 3.0 and clamav provide in suse 9.1 Pro, I had read the manual in samba-vscan doc and add vfs object in [homes]. If I use 'smbclient -L //reyman-suse/rey' then enter password, I can see my share. But when I try to enter using 'smbclient //reyman-suse/rey', it cant log in and comes with errors. Is samba-vscan from suse 9.1 Pro can work out of the box or if I want to use it I have to recompile it again ? Any help would be appreciate. rey@arie:~> smbclient //reyman-suse/rey Password: Domain=[REYMAN-SUSE] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.0.2a-SUSE] tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME and in /var/log/messages there are some errors like this May 27 09:17:09 arie smbd[18706]: [2004/05/27 09:17:09, 0] smbd/vfs.c:vfs_init_c ustom(256) May 27 09:17:09 arie smbd[18706]: Can't find a vfs module [vscan-clamav.so] May 27 09:17:09 arie smbd[18706]: [2004/05/27 09:17:09, 0] smbd/vfs.c:smbd_vfs_i nit(319) May 27 09:17:09 arie smbd[18706]: smbd_vfs_init: vfs_init_custom failed for vs can-clamav.so May 27 09:17:09 arie smbd[18706]: [2004/05/27 09:17:09, 0] smbd/service.c:make_c onnection_snum(502) May 27 09:17:09 arie smbd[18706]: vfs_init failed for service rey my samba and clamav: samba-3.0.2a-51 samba-winbind-3.0.2a-51 samba-vscan-0.3.4-78 clamav-0.70-1.1 My samba.conf [global] workgroup = KOSMO netbios name = REYMAN-SUSE server string = Samba Server interfaces = 127.0.0.1 eth0 bind interfaces only = Yes map to guest = Bad User add machine script = /usr/sbin/useradd -c Machine -d /var/lib/nobody -s /bin/false %m$ domain logons = no os level = 60 preferred master = yes domain master = false # wins support = Yes # ldap suffix = dc=example,dc=com printer admin = @ntadmin, root, administrator security = user encrypt passwords = yes local master = yes passdb backend = smbpasswd [homes] comment = Home Directories vfs object = vscan-clamav.so vscan-clamav: config-file = /etc/samba/vscan-clamav.conf valid users = %S read only = No browseable = no guest ok = no printable = no
