Hi I have a 120Gb HD in a firewire enclosure. The HD is seen as /dev/sda. There is 2 primary partitions on the HD: /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2. Both partitions have been formatted with Ext3. I keep getting these messages in /var/log/messages for both /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2 every 5 seconds... ... kernel: EXT2-fs warning: maximal mount count reached, running e2fsck is recommended kernel: FAT: bogus number of reserved sectors kernel: VFS: Can't find a valid FAT filesystem on dev sda2. kernel: EXT2-fs warning (device sda2): ext2_fill_super: mounting ext3 filesystem as ext2 ... Both partitions appear under /media as ieee1394_sbp2-0030e010ee0c3856-0-1p1 ieee1394_sbp2-0030e010ee0c3856-0-1p2 What's going on here? -- _____________________________________________________________________ Frederic P.
