As mentioned before, I have performed the steps in Suse Support articles to try to address the issue.
Which were? Remind us briefly, so that we don't repeat saying what you have already done. I would try enabling acpi, or if enabled, disabling it. Also playing with vpic could help - I hope I got the acronyms right... I'm folding up for the day. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
