Greetings.
In my continued quest to migrate to Linux, I'd like to ask the group what anti-virus products you use, or prefer, along with some pro's and con's for each.
I already know about Amavis (snip)
Hi Jeff, IMNSHO, the best anti-virus, anti worm, anti-being hacked producet for Linux starts with a good fire-wall -- preferably running on it's own box. SuSE provides a firewall. Install it and learn how to use it. You also need a good security policy. Frequesnt updates, knowing where your rpm's came from, running "rpm --checksig .." , etc. Also don't forget to sign up for: "suse-security" list and/or "suse-security-announcements" both are low volume list, but worth getting. You can install an anti-virus product if that makes you happy, but not having a good firewall is like locking your barn door after your horse is stolen. Hope this helps, -- "It IS as bad as you think, and they ARE out to get you." -- __________________________________________________________________ Introducing the New Netscape Internet Service.
