Hi all,
I'm currently configuring a new postfix system replacing the our old SUSE system with Postfix. The new system is running SuSE 9.0.
For our new system we need BSMTP (our provider want us to move from UUCP to BSMTP, because they are dropping UUCP support soon). Now it seems that BSMTP is not available. Does anyone know where to find a bsmtp package which works with postfix?
TIA,

You can google for it. There are redHat versions http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/422352/com/bsmtp-0.96-1.i386.rpm... And it appears sendmail handles it, Suse specific version here http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/6/idpl/1088620
I found that already, but is seems to be sendmail only. (And it collide with Postfix)
(or does it got to be postfix???)
I has to be postfix.
How is this different from and the "etrn" type connections] where the isp spools it and hold it till you ask it to send?
Dunno. Our providers speaks explicitly about BSMTP. The strange thing is that the master.cf of postfix also includes a bsmtp line, only the package is missing (in SuSE 9.0 and maybe other versions).
