User86 said: It sounds like you most likely ssh'd from B to A some time before and then recently did something that changed the key on A which could be either erasing its key and letting ssh create a new one, or reinstalling SuSE Linux 9.0 which probably reformatted and erased the key you had before and then when sshd was run on later a new key was generated on A. The fix is to edit "known_hosts" in your /home/john/.ssh folder on machine B and remove the line that has the old key for A then ssh from B to A again and tell it to accept the new key from A.
