Tim, I used the Apache2 documentation that comes with the Apache installation on Suse and started with the vhost-ssl-template in /etc/apache2/vhosts.d. Suse provides a script and I ran it to generate a certificate for my hostname, so I did not have to use the openssl commands by them self. I have to admit, it is already a while when I did it and I just searched for the script but don't remember where it is located. BTW, I am using it just for development purposes on my local computer. Is there an Apache2 list for Suse9. Since it appears as if Apache2 on SUSE is not configured as the documentation on apache's site, I have some questions on how do I get SSL working?
