Hi, everyone.
I've recently installed SuSE 9.0 and have an annoying problem with pop-ups (previews?) on my desktop and in some browsers.
Right click on the desktop and select the Configure Desktop option. Under the General tab, toggle the Show Tool Tips option. Hit apply and then close the context menu.
You can also do this from the KDE Control Panel.
I find this tooltip very annoying as well. There is no general tab in SuSE 9.0. I googled for this but I cannot find a solution . It looks like you can't turn it off! :-(
Except that on my wife's computer (also SuSE 9.0) she does NOT get the pop-ups! I've looked at every setting I can find trying to see where her configuration is different from mine. I can't find any difference. So where ever the box is to uncheck it must really be hidden. This is really frustrating. Thx.
