Hi all, I have one pc that's connected to the internet via a 56k modem. It has one network card (192.168.1.31). Two other machines each have to access the internet through the first one. One is Windows98 (192.168.1.30) and the other Mandrake 10 (192.168.1.32) Both can access web pages through squid which is running on the gateway, but neither can ping, download e-mail and that sort of thing. I have port forwarding enabled in the firewall and in the network card properties (SUSE 9.0 Pro). Here is my /etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2 file: FW_LOG_ACCEPT_ALL="no" FW_LOG_ACCEPT_CRIT="yes" FW_LOG_DROP_ALL="no" FW_LOG_DROP_CRIT="yes" FW_PROTECT_FROM_INTERNAL="no" FW_DEV_DMZ="" FW_DEV_INT="eth0" FW_DEV_EXT="ppp0" FW_SERVICES_DMZ_UDP="" FW_SERVICES_INT_UDP="" FW_SERVICES_EXT_UDP="" FW_SERVICES_DMZ_TCP="" FW_SERVICES_INT_TCP="" FW_SERVICES_EXT_TCP="80 http https imap imaps pop3 pop3s smtp ssh" FW_AUTOPROTECT_SERVICES="no" FW_MASQ_NETS="0/0" FW_ROUTE="yes" FW_MASQUERADE="yes" FW_ALLOW_FW_TRACEROUTE="yes" This is how the firewall module in Yast set it up (the port 80 was added by yast's http server module) What am I missing Thanks Hans
