I got it for free from my good suse friend ..Andre...and here it is for free.. You want .... apt-get...an application for installing..updating....upgrading..files from command line.. It is not on disc's First you have to download 3 files from.. ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/apt/SuSE/9.0-i386/RPMS.suser-rbos apt-0.5.5cnc6-rb6.i586.rpm apt-libs-0.5.5cnc6-rb6.i586.rpm lua-5.0-rb3.i586.rpm IMPORTEND..Now if you try to install these files each by itself..you will have dependency issues infinito..but try this...new one for me too..he-he.. rpm -Uvh apt-0.5.5cnc6-rb6.i586.rpm apt-libs-0.5.5cnc6-rb6.i586.rpm lua-5.0-rb3.i586.rpm All on one line...and...bingo...no problem....all dependencies sorted out. NOW do ...apt-get update....wil get the latest sources list. You want to install ...synaptic...easy..just..apt-get install synaptic. The sources list will be in.../etc/apt/ You maybe want another sources list.... mosey over to... http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/apt/SuSE/9.0-i386/examples/sources.list.FT...
