I noticed when I installed samba in 9.0, I still ended up with 2.x and it called it samba "classic". What is samba "non-classic", is that samba 3.x? I didn't see it listed in the package list (looking for samba*). thanks... BTW, re: YOU hanging... Still working on downloading the updated packages to apply....did do the: rpm --rebuild and ran the: suSEconfig --verbose but trying to run YOU, it still goes for the infinte loop I don't think the YOU module uses the standard rpm database I think it uses some information in /var/lib/YaST2 which may be corrupt, but SuSE basic support team doesn't know how it works and so far doesn't know how to fix it.
