FTP installation of SuSE 9.0 - USB keyboard is not detected in the beginning?

I managed to create a bootable CD for FTP installation of SuSE 9.0. When the installation program starts it does not detect the keyboard (Logitech cordless USB keyboard). As a consequence, I am not even able to select "installation" and I cannot proceed. Very frustrating and annoying error ... Do you have any idea how to solve this issue? I have some positive experiences of SuSE and I would really like to try it again before I decide to purchase it. Regards Sami
