Is there someplace in the SuSE or more general Linux docs a reasonably concise summary of the available command-line network utility programs -- goodies like ping, netstat, nmap, traceroute, ipconfig, and so forth? The manpages are a good start, "man ping" etc. There is ping, netstat, dig, nmap and nmapfe (GUI), traceroute, ifconfig, ethereal, tcpdump and lots of other nice tools for doing things like monitoring network load, intrusion detection, etc., etc. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ....
