It does. But for how long? I'd like to be able to track it from X period to X period. For example, my machine is always on, but when I come in the office tomorrow, I'd like to see how much is transfered from the time I come in to the time I leave.
Can I do this? If so, how?
Install and run ntopd. That will give you long time stats
