I've just loaded SuSE 9.0 with Postfix 2.0.14, I can send and receive mail just fine, but am having trouble accessing my mailbox from a windows client with outlook. I think the problem has something to do with SSH, but as I'm new to SuSE and SSH and I don't know what SuSE's default intent is. I have been running Red Hat with Postfix for a few years now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The easiest would be to run either a POP or an IMAP server besides Postfix, so Outlook can get it's mail from these. SuSE has POP and IMAP server on CD, so you can use one of those, or you can get e.g. Courier-imap and install that. Courier is somewhat more feature-rich and afaik more secure that the supplied servers (ssl support, Maildir oriented). Theo -- Theo v.
