Does anyone know of a script to show Man-pages on a web server? (Tried my friend Google, but found only a few rather outdated ones). Assuming you have apache installed and running, as well as konqueror (kde), you should just be able to type (without the quotes)
"#NameOfCommand" in the url field of konqueror and it will show the appropriate man page. Alternately "man:/NameOfCommand" I know these work with Konq but I haven't had any luck using this method w/ other browsers (although I haven't tried to hard) BTW info pages are also available in Konqueror "info:/NameOfCommand" and the susehelp page with search (assuming SuSEhelp is installed) "127.0.0.1" and follow the link at the bottom of the page Hope that helps - -- dh Kucinich for President (US) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFANilJBwgxlylUsJARAoofAJ9/bacp131rFhyqAlOZDvPoKRx3IwCfc0Wj QRN3YUf2hJROh2+FXlqZg5U= =44ll -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
