You should specify your SuSE version. Problems there are version dependent.
This is version 9.0. What's particularly irksome is that help was working fine before I tried the KDE 3.2 upgrade. Under KDE 3.2, which never worked right for me, the help couldn't do searching either. I backed down to 3.1.4 and that reversion seems to have been successful -- except for the problem with help. I reinstalled the susehelp rpm (both the base and the _en package) but that made no difference. Paul Abrahams
