Hello.
Anyone been able to compile nmap 3.50 from source on SuSE 9.0 ? Due to the problems we're having getting the provided nmap 3.30 to work properly due to a broken kernel, I thought I'd try the latest version to see if it would work any better.
When I do ./configure, the script errors out with: checking for type of 6th argument to recvfrom()... configure: error: Cannot find type for 6th arguement to recvfrom()
I have found a bunch of references to the same error on Google, but no answers as to how to fix it. Can anyone here help me out ?
Thanks, Stuart.
rpmbuild -ta nmap-3.50.tgz worked, installed OK, nmapfe needed rpm -Uvh --force /usr/src/packages/RPMS/i586/nmap-frontend-3.50-1.i586.rpm Installed and checked it's working. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce .... Hamradio G3VBV and keen Flyer Linux Only Shop.
