The G450's tvout is far superior to those on the Nvidia cards. See http://www.funktronics.ca/dfbmga for setup on SUSE 9.0.
You are right, I know this issue but it seems to be limited to 640x480 and I use kernel 2.6.
Your TV can only display 640x480 (assuming ntsc). If you use a higher resolution the card is going to scale it down and it will look awful. Also, I have an Nvidia card with TV out and my G450 is 10 times sharper, even with a composite cable. Any particular reason you need 2.6? SUSE backported a lot of the cool stuff into their 2.4 kernel... - -- James Oakley Engineering - SolutionInc Ltd. joakley@solutioninc.com http://www.solutioninc.com ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This e-mail is CONFIDENTIAL and contains information intended only for the person(s) named.
