I just installed WinME (sorry!) on a small partition of my Linux system running SuSE 9.0. Windows seems to have overwritten the bootloader ... How do I setup my bootloader, so I am able to dual-boot the machine?
1. Start up the distribution CD and choose "rescue system". 2. Login as root (no password needed here). 3. Type: mount /dev/hdax /mnt (where ax is a1, a2, or whatever your root SuSe partition is) chroot /mnt mount -a [this may not be necessary] /usr/sbin/grub-install /dev/hda and you'll be back in business (assuming your 9.0 system was running correctly before the overwrite).
