The motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-7VAX, it only has two ide connectors, one for a hard-drive and the other is used for a cd. Has anyone successfully used any of the ide pci adaptor cards with 8.1? On each IDE connector of the mother board, you can connect two units, one as master, one as slave. So you don't need a pci adaptor card. Catimimi. Thanks.
