Hi All, Me again, good news this time actually :-) I decided to set things up a little differently thinking maybe putting SuSE on the second half of a large drive was part of the culprit. Therefore, I put XP Home on the first drive with 2 small FAT32 partitions at the end. I then used the whole second drive for SuSE (80gig). #1 The boot loop appears (key word - appears) to be fixed now. Both XP and SuSE boot on the first go around. #2 Everything showed up this time (DVD, CD burner, NTFS drive and both FAT drives) #3 I have the internet Anyway, everything seems to be cool now. Now that I have installed these two OS's 100+ times, I think it's time to play :-) Thanks Russ
