Hi everyone - hope a good Xmas was had by all. I'm running SuSE 9.0 and trying to connect to a Windows 2000 based network at work. No problem from Windows - I have a username and password, etc, and can connect to the internet through the designated proxy server. No can do in Linux, though. Despite setting up proxy in YaST and in my browser, I get an authorisation error. On one occasion in a previous install, I started squid and the system connected OK but now I can't duplicate that: I had to reinstall my system for other reasons ( a reiserfs corruption). If I try to access the internet with lynx I get messages re "invalid header:NTLM authorisation" and the same for kerberos. Any suggestions anyone? Thanks David
