Okay I did some searching and installed all the gtk libs and
gnome-config
then I tried compiling a very basic program:
//gnomeshow.c
#include
int main(int argc, char argv[])
{
gprint("gchar: %d\n",sizeof(gchar));
exit(0);
}
//make
CC=gcc
LDLIBS=`gnome-config --libs gnomeui`
CFLAGS=-Wall -g `gnome-config --cflags gnomeui`
gshow:gshow.o
//end
anyway this used to work a long time ago but now all I get is gnome.h
unknown.....Anyone know what I am doing wrong or whats different these
days in SuSE (8.2 Pro---all Gnome libs and gnome-config loaded in fact
/opt/gnome/include/gnome-1.0/gnome.h is where the header exist)
Or is this something I am not supposed to use anymore now that we are
much laterin the GTK tree??
Thanks in advance
