Newbie here with SuSE 9.0 Personal edition and Linux in general. What is the best way to replace the Mozilla 1.4 that comes with the SuSE install CD to the newer version of 1.6 and have it work as 1.4 does.
I would say you don't want to go for 1.6 - the 1.6 tree of Mozilla is currently in an alpha stage of development, the current stable version is 1.5. To install 1.5 for SuSE you can either get it from www.usr-local-bin.org/mozilla.php or ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/mozilla When 1.6 is considered stable, it will be available from these same locations. -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 9.0).
