All,
Sorry for a slightly OT post, but you seem like a very knowledgeable group. :)
I am a relatively new SuSE user, and I am looking for a digital audio player that can play ogg files and that I can use with SuSE (8.1). I am looking for a player without a harddrive. (One of those very small memory models) I have seen some models with a harddrive that 'officially' support ogg files, but I cannot find any memory players that list support for ogg.
I was wondering if anyone on the list has had any luck using a memory audio player with SuSE.
Thanks in advance,
Brian
XMMS is the X Multimedia System. It is used to play audio and other kinds of media files. By default XMMS can play MPEG audio, Ogg Vorbis, RIFF wav, most module formats, and a few other formats. XMMS can be extended through plugins to play a number of other audio and video for mats. From "man xmms", if it's not been installed by default, it's on CD/DVD and probably on the ftp server.
