How can I setup a Dazzle CF-SD cardreader under 9.0? Here's what I have now in my fstab:
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0 usbdevfs /proc/bus/usb usbdevfs noauto 0 0 /dev/cdrecorder /media/cdrecorder auto ro,noauto,user,exec 0 0 /dev/cdrom /media/cdrom auto ro,noauto,user,exec 0 0 /dev/fd0 /media/floppy auto noauto,user,sync 0 0 /dev/sdb1 /media/sdb1 auto sync,noauto,user,exec 0 0 #HOTPLUG B3Fu.o4XOFJX1US6
I believe the sdb1 is my card reader. I always seem to have a hard time getting it to work unless I shutdown, put the card in, and startup SuSE. I use it with a CF card and a SD card for my Palm.
Any thoughts?

Tom, Your situation looks to be the same as my internal card reader. It mounts it as sdb1 also. I didn't have a card to test in it until just recently though, but basically all I had to do was from the desktop, Create New>Hard Disk. At that point I labeled it Card_Reader and under device chose the /dev/sdb1 item. Now I did have to boot up the computer the first time with the card inserted, so I could get the entry into my fstab automatically. I need only to insert a card now though and mount it. Don't forget to unmount it before removing your card too! The "device" is already mounted, but each new card is like another floppy or cd, mount & unmount. Of course, you could also mount it from the shell/konsole, but the icon is convenient, so I use that.
