Hi all,
I have recently installed SuSE 9.0, and noticed a minor thing: 'ksysguard' or 'top' report that the CPU is continuously busy with system processes at a load of approximately 40%. However, these processes do not show up in the process list. I didn't have this problem with SuSE 8.2, which I was running previously on the same machine. Actually I'm wondering if it's a problem at all, or if the load just gets reported inaccurately. However, my system does seem a little sluggish from time to time...
Below are my system specs and the output from 'top'.
Thanks a lot in advance!
Klaus

<--snip--> Hi, Try boot parameter pci=noacpi. It solved exactly similar problem with my Asus P4C800deluxe board P4/HT cpu. System loads are now around 1% (with top), was around 40% when using default boot parameters. Hope that it helps you. regards, Jari
