Now this is interesting. Why would that make any difference, Dylan? I have no homenetwork yet but planning to set that up next year. Both computers will run Linux ( SUSE).
You need to use the firewall to do the gateway functions for you. Basically, one box connects to the outside world, and your other one connects via the first.
