Hi, I'm trying to install SuSE 8.2 (ftp install) in a PowerEdge 1650 machine. The RAID is composed by 3 SCSI disks. During install, I receive the following messages, in the order : ----------------------------------------- Confirm driver activation Dell Computer Corporation PowerEdge Expandable RAID Controller 3 (PowerEdge Expandable RAID Controller 3/Di) module : aacraid ----------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------- |Confirm driver activation |Adaptec RAID subsystem HBA PowerEdge 2550 | |module : aic79xx |----------------------------------------- 4x -| |----------------------------------------- |Confirm driver activation |Adaptec RAID subsystem HBA PowerEdge 2550 | |module : aic7xxx ----------------------------------------- (The 2 last messages, 4 times) After confirming all the modules loading, I receive the message : "No hard disk were found for the installation. Please check your hardware" It seems : 1. the loading of modules aacraid, aic79xx and aic7xxx did not make any effect. 2. the system was trying to load them and not having success, by the fact of it was repeating 4 times the messages about loading aic79xx and aic7xxx modules.
