Dear All, I made a photo CD full of jpeg photos that I burned in Su8e8.2 with K3b. I want to be able to view Cd photos on my TV with my DVD player since it says it will play audio CDs, vcds, dvd, mp3 on cdrw. It is even a writer for CDs and DVDs I believe. Well, it would not read my CD since the format was only jpeg photos. I have been researching this subject intensely for the past few days and found that there are ways but most seemed very complicated. It seems to me that there must be a fairly simple way or program that would do this. I would like to find a way to change my jpegs to mpegs stills so that I may turn those into vcd. I have vcdimager with a gui but it needs to have the mpeg format first in order to do anything. The difficulty seems to be finding a way to change the jpegs into mpeg stills. There are a couple of commercial products that do change your photos into the right format and burn them onto CD so that they can be viewed on a dvd player through the TV. If I remember correctly it was not expensive and 2 of them were compatible with linux. I could go that route but I really wanted to learn how to do this with linux using the free software just to increase my know how. Any thoughts about this will be much appreciated. Thanks for the help. Sincerely, Marcia
