I think Richard Bos (radoeka@xs4all.nl) said it was an rpm3 vs. rpm4 problem.
He sent me 2 files for fakelibs to make it look like you have rpm4 installed.
Check to make sure you have rpm3 before applying them: rpm --version as root.
Dear Ed, That was until yesterday night just the problem until I got the fakelibs rpm from Richard Bos. Now everything is fine ;-).
