Hi, Has anyone got coredumps working on SuSE 9.0? I have tried adding a line to /etc/boot.local to set the core limit to 50MB and created the /etc/initscript as mention in init(8). I have modified /etc/security/limits.conf Nothing works but running a root shell and then setting the limits and then su(1)ing to my uid. Does anyone have this working? Here is my ineffective /etc/initscript # # initscript Executed by init(8) for every program it # wants to spawn like this: # # /bin/sh /etc/initscript <id> <level> <action> <process> # # Set umask to safe level, and enable core dumps. PATH=/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin export PATH ulimit -Hc 50000 # Execute the program. eval exec "$4" Thanks, Bob Pearson -- _/_/_/ Bob Pearson Linux user number 333508 _/_/_/ gottadoit@mailsnare.net http://counter.li.org _/_/_/ I am unique and special, just like everyone else.
