I sent a message earlier this week on not being able to find any wireless card that would work under SuSE 8.x-9.0. Someone suggested Netgear MA401(thanks) and I got one (brand new) off of eBay. Still had problems with 8.2 thinking it was prism2. However, I saw a post that stated using the external pcmcia drivers instead of the kernel ones, make the pcmcia card the default net device and making sure that the wlan-ng.conf binds orinoco_cs instead of prism2_cs. This was all I needed and now 8.2 finally works as it should and I have surfed the net wirelessly under SuSE 8.2. 9.0 is a different story. It did not like the external pcmcia, and setting it up under Yast2 still results in the kernal thinking it is prism2_cs. Can someone shed some light on this. I like 9.0 and want to update my main partition to it on my laptop, but not until this wireless this is sorted out. Best Regards, Keith __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
